Delegation
Delegation provides the means of delegating a User’s Authorizations to another User during a specific period of time.
Example:
A manager delegating his Authorizations to another manager for the time period he is on vacation.
Emulation
Emulation enables a User in the organization, such as an administrator or a client care representative, to emulate a client user session temporarily by making all the client’s Authorizations and Limit Policies effective within the administrator’s emulation session.
Example:
A bank’s client care representative emulating a bank’s client online banking session for troubleshooting purposes, or for performing actions on his / her behalf.
